Earlier start to Atlantic Hurricane season

As a consequence of the warming we have the early start of the Atlantic hurricane season; so an official start is forecast on May 15, two weeks earlier than normally handled in the previous years. The decision will be made by the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) with the aim of mitigating catastrophes.
