Earlier start to Atlantic Hurricane season

A proposal is made to change the start date of the hurricane season, as weather events have become more unpredictable as a result of climate change, as a period from June to November is normally handled, that framed 97% of tropical activity.
Weather agencies usually state that the wind route is normally robust in May and weakens between the months of June and July, allowing for stronger storm formation, but this phenomenon has been changing as evidenced last year, which is why it's expected that more changes will be replicated generating differences in normal standards for the hurricane season.
The final decision will be known after the meeting of 17 March 2021, on the third day of the WMO Hurricane Committee.
Therefore, the alert is issued so that all areas of exposure begin to work on their risk prevention and mitigation plans, focusing on the fact that the risk is increasing in intensity and the change of route of the phenomena is increasingly recurring.
